Join @silversstiches and me (@spunstraw) for a Halloween themed sew-a-long throughout September!

Laura (@silversstiches) and I have been planning our Halloween quilts for a while and thought it would be fun to have our own little sew-a-long this month for a bit of spooky festive spirit! (Ha, spirit, ghost, Halloween, get it?? :D) We’ve enjoyed doing quilt-a-longs together in the past and think the community definitely helps with finishing projects!

This is a very informal sew-a-long, but thought we’d open it out to anyone that wants to join in! All you have to do is some spooky Halloween themed sewing in September and tag us and the hashtag #SpookySeptemberSewALong and we’ll choose someone at the end of the month to win a little prize! It can be a quilt, a wall hanging, clothing, pouches, anything!

I think it’s safe to say that Halloween is Laura and my favourite holiday and we’re looking forward to this year being a bit more open and being able to have even a small Halloween party! (We will of course also be hoping it’ll be cold so we can use our newly finished quilts!)
