Strawberry Quilt Block

The Strawberry Quilt Block Foundation Paper Piecing Pattern is available here in my Etsy shop.

This pattern was inspired by the strawberry fabrics from the amazing Kim Kight for Ruby Star Society. She designed these strawberries for the first Darlings fabric collection, and they reappeard in Strawberries and Friends a couple years later.

The pattern was initially designed as a 12″ block for the Ruby Star Society block swap at QuiltCon, but I then added a slightly simplified version as a 6″ block.

I got to meet Kim Kight at QuiltCon 2023 in Atlanta and had a great time chatting to her! Here’s a photo of us with the two blocks I designed inspired by her fabrics.
